First licensed in 1983 Robert Karch worked with Eastern Public Adjusters, Delaware Valley Public Adjuster, & Karasek and Clark Inc. before starting his own Public Adjusting Firm in 1991. Robert has experience in the construction field (38yrs) and also as a firefighter (35yrs) He knows how buildings are constructed and how they come apart. He is very knowledgeable in how to rebuild after a loss. This experience is a great aid in the Public Adjusting business.

Robert M. Karch, the owner of Urban Public Adjusters was born and raised in the Frankford section of Philadelphia. He attended public school and graduated from Frankford High School. Upon graduation, Robert attended Community College of Philadelphia graduating with an Associate’s degree in Fire Science. From there Robert attended Temple University acquiring 54 units toward a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts Education. Coming from a family skilled in trades, Robert picked up many of his skills along the trail of life. He initially choose a career in civil service because of the good pay and benefits along with the challenge. He has spent 35 years as a Philadelphia Firefighter and likes to help people when they are struggling with their worst predicaments. During the Firefighting career, Robert also maintained a construction business and a public adjusters business. His background in construction and firefighting make him the best and logical choice to help you in your time of need.
